For my magazine, I want to produce a 'film review' magazine.
I would like my target audience to be students from 15-25. However I understand that 15 year olds will not be able to watch 18+ films in the cinema, so I will provide most reviews on films which are 15/12+ because these are usually just as exciting. I will not provide any information on films which are under the certificate 12 as I believe most students will not be interested in these films. The magazine is mainly for males, as I want to include thrilling/horror films more than romantic ones.
I will try to make my magazine appealing in order for people to explore and look into depth at all the films I provide. I will make my magazine easy, simple language, and use quotes to show whether the film they are looking at is advisory to be seen by other people.
Codes and conventions: the colours on my front page will be very exciting/thrilling (black, red, yellow) to show exciting/scary films. However there will also be a small section for romantic/comedy films.
There will be written language, quotes from people who have just seen the films (these people will be students).
There will be a picture of a camera shot of a scary film, I will research which film is the most viewed by students at the moment.
